CO2 Program

GAS CYLINDER POLICY :R.J.’s Soda Service, Inc. requires a $100 deposit on each 20-pound Co2 tank and $175 on each 50-pound Co2 tank leased to each outlet. The state of California requires that all tanks be refilled with gas and serviced only by our company. All deposits are refunded to the customer upon termination of services after the account is paid in full and tanks are returned. These tanks are the sole property of R.J.’s Soda Service, Inc. and are not transferable by the operator upon the sale of any outlet.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is required by law to control and supervise commercial compressed tanks as they are considered explosive devices. We are required to keep records of the location of our tanks so as to periodically have them Hydrostatic tested. The customer is responsible for the return of each tank when empty or after 30 days, whichever occurs first, as printed on the tag affixed to the tanks.

DELIVERY AND SERVICE POLICY :

• There is a 2-tank minimum order to open an account.
• There is a service charge of $40 per month for our Co2 service. The service charge entitles you to delivery of up to three tanks in a one-month period. Additional tanks needed in that month will be charged on a “per tank” basis: $25 for a 20-pound tank and $35 for a 50-pound tank.
• Co2 will de delivered on an “as needed” basis. You will be responsible for ordering Co2 (We recommend ordering as soon as your spare tank has been put online). Orders will be delivered within a 48-hour period. If emergency service is required a $50 special delivery fee will be charged for emergency delivery.
• You will receive a monthly invoice for the $40 service charge via email. We strongly urge our customers to maintain their account in good standing so as not to have service interrupted. R.J.’s Soda Service offers a monthly auto-pay for your convenience.
• All new accounts must sign a Terms and Conditions agreeing to our policies.

A charge for any missing tank will be billed to the customer: 20-pound tanks will be charged at $150 each; 50-pound tanks will be charged at $175 each.
